School Infrastructure
Shalom Public School is affiliated to the CBSE. Our curriculum is based on Discovery Xseed program which is an integrated curriculum for any syllabus like ICSE, CBSE or state board. They give tools like manual, work book, content book, and activities that are pre-planned for students and teaching staff. It aims to inculcate the child with concepts rather than rash thought processes.
It is designed to develop critical thinking skills and understanding. Teachers area extensively trained for this methodology. In a nut shell, the method of using Xseed in school has made it easier for the child to understand the concepts and learn better when they make connections between what they know and the knowledge being imparted to them. We also focus on Co-curricular activities like artwork, sports , music, reading, quiz, and leadership development.
library
The school provides a variety of books for all at the school library. It engages the students in different activities like quiz, storytelling, project work, literary competition and reference. We also subscribe to a number of periodicals and newspapers to improve their general knowledge.
audio visual classroom
Audio visual aids enable our students to easily grasp and retain concepts by presenting them in a more realistic and concrete manner.
computer room
School is equipped with the fully functional computer room that is accessible to the students of Grade-1 and above. We also conduct online exams for all the students which are assigned by our educational partner XSEED.
science/math laboratories
The school is equipped with separate physics, biology, chemistry and math laboratory with all the facilities like charts, models, specimens and scientific apparatus.
music
Music is compulsory for all the students and they need to qualify in the subject for promotion to the next grade. Besides vocal training, piano and guitar lessons are also made available.
Zumba kids
The school provides Zumba dance and body combat facility for grade 1 and above from international certified master trainer for physical and mental development.
co-curricular activities
- For all-round development of students supplementary education in an organized manner is imparted through indoor and outdoor games and activities such as cultural program, Summer Camps, Annual function, movies etc are arranged.
- The school arranges educational trip based on their lesson plan. The educational trip is an annual activity of the school.
- The school organizes Trekking for the students to enhance their knowledge and further understanding of the world and themselves.
