Transport Facility

Students can avail the school transport subject to the availability of seats. The routes of the school buses are drawn up and the parents should consult the School Transport - Incharge for necessary details. The School reserves the right towards providing bus facility to the students.
BUS RULES
- A student using the school bus is expected to be at the bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus. The student has to be on the correct side of the arriving bus.
- Students are allowed to use only the allotted bus and bus stop. No change can be allowed without the prior permission of the school in writing.
- The buses will not wait for late comers. If a student misses his allotted bus he should not try to board any other bus. It is the responsibility of the parent to drop their ward at the school gate. However,the student will return by the allotted bus.
- The students should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives. No student should come near the entry door of the bus until it comes to a complete halt. The front door of the bus is the only authorized entrance and exit.
- Boarding and alighting from the buses should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.
- All students must occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding their respective buses. Reservation of seats for co-commuters is not allowed under any circumstance.
- No student should travel standing on the footboard.
- Students must not move around in the bus when it is in motion.
- The students must make sure that the aisle of the bus is clear, school bags and other belongings are placed properly.
- Students must be seated in the bus. They should not put even their hands out for waving.
- No object should be discarded inside or thrown outside the bus.
- Consumption of edibles is not permitted in the buses.
- Unruly behaviour like shrieking, shouting and playing mischief is strictly prohibited. Courteous behaviour is expected at all times.
- The driver's attention must not be distracted for any reason.
- If, due to certain exigency, a student has to leave the school campus during school hours, by his own transport, the following rules have to be observed.
- Give a written application
- Take a Permission Slip, from reception duly endorsed which has to be shown at the school gate before leaving the campus.
- Under no circumstance students are allowed to go behind or under the parked buses in the school campus. Students are also not allowed to sit in the parked buses during school hours. They should not touch the instrument panel of the buses.
- Any misbehaviour with the driver, conductor, fellow students or teachers in the bus by a child or a parent will not be tolerated. In such cases the school transport facility to the child stands cancelled.
- The drivers are authorised to stop buses at the designated stops only, unless otherwise directed by the teacher in the bus. The list of stops is prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commuters and is subject to change.
- Parents are advised that if they have any issue related to school / transportation or any other they should contact the school on the following contact no 6909621687. On no account they should discuss / argue with Bus Drivers /Conductors orTransport-in-charge.
- The students are responsible for maintaining discipline in the bus. Any serious offence must be reported to the Principal immediately.
- In case of change in stop and / or bus (of a temporary or permanent nature), the permission for the same has to be sought through a written application.
- Parents have to ensure that their wards do not go to and from the bus stops unescorted.
- Parents / Guardians of such students who do not avail the School Transport should report at the School gate 15 minutes before the dispersal to collect their wards.
- No efforts for the safety of the students are spared but the School will not be held responsible for any road accident in which the buses may unfortunately be involved.
- Transport charges are to be paid for the complete academic session (April-March). No request to discontinue bus facility during the academic year will be entertained.
- Withdrawal of Transport is not allowed in the last quarter (Jan-March) of the academic year.

Guidelines For Parents Using Private Trasport
- All parents will submit an undertaking in case they decide to use Private Vans, Taxis, Auto or Cab. This undertaking has to be renewed every year.
- Private vehicles should drop the students at either Gate No. 1 After dropping the children, no driver should park their vehicle around the school area. They should arrive before 5 minutes of the dispersal.
- If it is found that the driver is violating the rules and directions, parents will be asked to drop their children personally and that vehicle will be stopped.
- At dispersal time the children will board private vehicles from Gate No. 1 Parents should instruct drivers to park their vehicles outside the gates and not to be in haste. They should be counselled not to park their vehicles on the main road.
- A parent who agrees to pick up a student on his / her friend’s request will have to submit a photocopy of his / her ID card and an undertaking that he / she takes the responsibility of the safety and security of the child.
